I thought that was a pretty profound insight. He got straight to the heart of the matter. He was also clear that what was true in the past is no longer true. The truth of the gospel has transformed these people. Now, having received Christ as their Lord and Savior, they are anxious to strengthen their faith by receiving God's Word in their own languages.

While Papua New Guinea is Wycliffe Associates largest overseas location for volunteer service, there are still dozens of critical vacancies that we are anxious to fill. Here are just five of the top priorities:

House parents for youth dorm

Four of these roles are located in Ukarumpa, the main support center for over 300 families working on translation throughout PNG. As part of this community, your service would impact hundreds of Bible translators and the thousands of Papua New Guineans still waiting for God's Word in their language. The regional center manager role provides an opportunity to serve families closer to their rural communities. Our Wycliffe Associates team is already in place in PNG. Their job is to assure that you have everything you need to succeed in your service there.
